The 13th edition of the South-East European Conference and Exhibition on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy will be held this year 7-9 March 2017 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The 13th edition of the South-East European Conference and Exhibition on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy will be held this year 7-9 March 2017 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Following the latest trends, the event will keep on being a cross point among local and international players and an efficient platform for showing the novelties in the branches. Face-to-face interaction with municipality representatives, key industry players from production, commercial and public sectors additionally contributes to the success of the participation in the initiative.

Among the exhibitors, applied participation as of the present moment in the SEE EE& RE’17 are companies from Bulgaria and Austria, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic. Firms from Greece, France, Slovenia, Poland, the Netherlands, and Switzerland are expected to join. Geothermal energy and heat pumps are among the exhibition highlights.

The focus of the EE & RE Conference’17 will be on:

  • Geothermal Energy: Good Practices for geothermal in cities, Discover Shallow Geothermal, Geothermal Heat Pumps

Experts from International Geothermal Association, European Geothermal Energy Council, European Heat Pump Association, Eurelectric,  Romanian Geo Exchange Society, Bulgarian Heat Pumps Association, Bulgarian shareholders are expected to deliver presentations in March.

There is still time to join the event and to take advantage of the significant market potential. The applications of heat pumps have been growing over the past years. These systems are used in family houses, block of flats, office and industrial buildings in different regions not only in Bulgaria, but covering the neighbouring countries. Direct-use of geothermal water, for example, in Bulgaria is besides for balneology, but also for space heating and air-conditioning, greenhouse heating, heat pumps, direct thermal water supply, etc.
