The 30 MW expansion of the PLTP Karaha Unit 1 geothermal power plant in West Java, Indonesia is on schedule to start operation in 2016, so Pertamina Geothermal Energy.

Pertamina Geothermal continues its work on the expansion of the PLTP Karaha Unit 1 in Kadipaten, Tasikmalaya in West Java.

The expansion will add 30 MW to the plant and is expected to start operation at the end of 2016 selling power to PLN.

Currently, the company is testing several wells for the project.
