The 6th Geothermal Congress for Latin America & the Caribbean (GEOLAC) will be held 17-18 July 2019 in Santiago, Chile bringing again together key market representatives, co-hosted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank Group.

The 6th Geothermal Congress for Latin America & the Caribbean (GEOLAC) will take place at the W Santiago, Chile, on July 17-18, 2019.

Geothermal is abundant across Latin America and the Caribbean but the potential is yet to translate into investment and output. Multilateral support for geothermal remains strong, however, and the project pipeline is deepening. Will the industry succeed in persuading the region that geothermal is an effective, reliable and economic source of baseload?

Co-hosted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank Group, GEOLAC is the only annual gathering of the regional geothermal market. Comprising over 200 stakeholders drawn from governments, utilities, developers, capital providers, GEOLAC will showcase projects and funding programs, facilitate critical new relationships, and tackle obstacles to development.

Ultimately GEOLAC 2019 will serve to accelerate the development of world-class geothermal projects across Latin America and the Caribbean.

ThinkGeoEnergy is proud to again be a partner to the event.
