Al Jazeera on the benefits of geothermal power in Kenya

The popular news agency recently covered the positive effects that geothermal development is having for Kenya.
Last month, Al Jazeera posted a video alongside a news-piece highlighting the critical importance that geothermal energy is having in Kenya by decreasing the number of electricity blackouts that plague the country alongside with providing cheaper prices for electricity.
According to the same news source, Jeff Murage, from the Kenya Association of Manufacturing says: “There has been some progress in the sector; there is a lot of genuine government support towards improving the energy situation in the country, but over time I think there has to be a concerted effort towards ensuring that we have cheaper, better quality power in the long term.”
