A recent interview with Prof. Klaus Regenauer-Lieb of the University of Western Australia on Australian ABC, looks into the challenges and costs in geothermal drilling and potential for geothermal to heat and power the city of Perth.

In a recent interview on Australian ABC, the station talked with Prof. Klaus Regenauer-Lieb of the University of Western Australia on “the challenges and costs in drilling holes of depths 1,000 meters and more”. He believes the hot water in aquifiers around the city of Perth is sufficient to power the city entirely.
