A local newspaper picks up on the history and the geothermal potential of Klamath and Lake County areas in Oregon providing also a call for the resurgence of geothermal in the area.

The local news piece provides a small summary of all the geothermal hallmarks in the area and a brief history on the subject.

The same news source states that “A resurgence of the geothermal industry would be welcome, though it has already been showing considerable signs of life in the Klamath-Lake County area in the past few years. The wider it spreads — along with its estimated $2.50 economic return for every dollar spent on it — the better it is for Klamath Falls and the mostly rural and often low-income areas where it is found. That includes Klamath County which has an added benefit of being a repository of scientific and industrial know-how in the field.”
