Abstracts submission is open for the 2nd GEORG Geothermal Workshop, 14-15 November 2018, Reykjavik, Iceland
The Geothermal Research Group (GEORG) is organizing the 2nd GEORG Geothermal Workshop (GGW2018), which will take place in Reykjavik on 14 – 15 November 2018.
Under “NEW GEOTHERMAL GENERATION” theme, this event sets the tone for a transformative global geothermal encounter, which will bring science and industry professionals to share their work and findings, and experience the latest developments and opportunities in geothermal research and technology around the World.
The workshop revolves around four topics:
- Upstream: Nature of the resource
- Midstream: Harnessing and production
- Downstream: Diversified utilization
- Cross-cutting: Sustainability – Social benefits – Innovation
The #GGW2018 event will feature two days filled with research- and industry-driven project presentations, poster sessions with a networking platform, and a panel session on the future of the geothermal mindset, run by the invited keynote speakers.
Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentation on any of the four topics at the following link:
