News from Oregon are uncertain when will the 3 MW Paisley Geothermal project go online.

Once again, the Paisley geothermal project seems to be headed for longer delays, even though last year’s news were quite positive that the plant would be operative by now.

According to a local news source, the project shows now signs of improvement and officials from the Surprise Valley Electric Corp. have declined to make any comments. According to Hearald and News: “It was previously hoped the plant, which is expected to produce 3 megawatts of renewable power, or about enough net output to provide power for 600 to 700 single-family homes, would be online by fall 2013. The date was later moved to summer 2014.”
