CanGEA is once again reiterating that developing geothermal is a better alternative to hydro for Site C in BC.

Following our continued news coverage on geothermal in Canada, geothermal could not only be a better fit for the hotly debated Site C in BC, but also be considerably cheaper than the current plan, as stated in one of the main Canadian Newspapers.

Once again, thanks to the reports and the continuous effort from the chair of CanGEA, Ms Thompson, expressing that geothermal power and reserves in the area are “incredibly accessible – the wells have been drilled, we found the resource, it is low-cost because the exploration has been done.”

Not only this, but CanGEA has also hosted a successful crowdfunding initiative (See LINK – PowEARTHful) to develop geothermal power in the country. See the video below.
