A drilling contract has been awarded to KS Drilling/ PT Atlantic Oilfield Services for a geothermal project in Northern Sumatra, Indonesia.

In a release earlier this week, Singapore-headquartered KS Drilling announced that its subsidiary PT Atlantic Oilfield Services has been awarded a drilling contract for a geothermal project in North Sumatra, Indonesia.

The drilling project is to commence in the middle of Q4 2016, so around November 2016 and take around 6 months.

The expected value of the new contract is approximately US$7 million.

Have since been informed that the drilling contract is for the Sorik Marapi project recently acquired by KS Orka.
