In partnership with Atlas Copco, Turkish EGESIM has signed an EPC contract with Limgaz Elektrik for the turnkey delivery of a 13.4 MW geothermal plant for the Buharkent geothermal project in Aydin, Turkey.

Turkish company EGESIM announces having signed an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for the Buharkent geothermal power project in Aydin-Buharkent, Turkey.

The plant is being developed by Limgaz Elektrik AS. and will have an installed power generation capacity of 13.4 MW.

EGESIM will work in cooperation with Atlas Copco at this first joint turnkey EPC project for both companies.

Announced earlier this year, EGESIM & Atlas Copco have combined their expertise, technologies and innovations ot provide a solution for geothermal pwoer companies. Atlas Copco’s ORC optimization and inflow radial turbine technology with variable inlet guide vanes complemented by the EGESIM automation solution provides a productive solution to geothermal power plant development.

It is expected that the plant will be completed within 14 months and would go online in September/ October 2018.
