The first Forum on Industrial Uses of Geothermal Energy of Mexico will take place in the Polytechnic University of Baja California, in the city of Mexicali on September 1st and 2nd.

Local Mexican news announce that all northwest Mexico entrepreneurs are invited to participate, on the 1st and 2nd of September, to the first Forum on Industrial Uses of Geothermal Energy, which aims to link academic and scientific work done by the Mexican Center of Innovation Geothermal Energy (Cemie-Geo), with potential investors interested in participating in this exciting renewable energy sector.

In a joint effort, the Cemie-Geo and the National Chamber of Industry (Canacintra) in Ensenada are looking to introduce direct uses of geothermal energy to companies; presenting the center’s projects and promote and accelerate the use and development of this energy in Mexico. Some of these direct uses imply heating, aquaculture, spas and tourism, drying of produce, wood or fish among many others.

The agenda for the two day event includes presentations, a conference meeting covering uses and benefits of geothermal activities, two panels where participants will learn on the different applications for engineering and agriculture-based firms and business meetings and networking sessions.

The event will take place in the Polytechnic University of Baja California, in the city of Mexicali.

Those interested in attending the forum can request free information by email info@canacintraens.org
