GeoGlobal Energy joined by new Managing Partner, Sarah Slusser

Sarah Slusser, previously an executive with AES Corporation, has joined GeoGlobal Energy LLC (GGE), a geothermal investment and development company, as a Managing Partner in the role of Executive Vice President.

Recently announced by the company, “Sarah Slusser has joined GeoGlobal Energy LLC (GGE) as a Managing Partner in the role of Executive Vice President. Ms. Slusser joins an elite management team that includes Greg Raasch, Robert Tucker, and Michael Van Vleck, whose combined 80 years of experience in the geothermal industry make them leaders in exploration, development and operation of geothermal resources worldwide.

“We are very pleased to have Sarah as part of the GeoGlobal team,” said President Michael Van Vleck. “Sarah brings extensive international power experience and we are confident that she will be a key player in the growth and success of GGE.”

Ms. Slusser joins GGE from The AES Corporation where she served as Senior Vice President and member of the AES Development Company’s Steering Committee. During her 21 years at AES, Ms. Slusser led several large power company acquisitions and developed multiple “greenfield” power projects. As President of AES Aurora, Ms. Slusser led AES’s expansion into the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America; she acquired, developed and managed 12 electricity businesses in this region with a total investment of $2 billion. Ms. Slusser brings a range of global experience to GeoGlobal Energy, managing power companies for AES in the Caribbean, Panama, El Salvador, the UK, South Africa and Tanzania.
