The 2014 Geothermal Congress for Latin America & the Caribbean (GEOLAC) co-hosted by the World Bank Group takes place five weeks from now in San José, Costa Rica, from July 16th-17th.

The 2014 Geothermal Congress for Latin America & the Caribbean (GEOLAC) takes place five weeks from now in San José, Costa Rica, from July 16th-17th.

Likely to be the most significant geothermal event in the Latin America and Carribean region, it has attracted several high profile speakers and attendants. So far 8 governments are confirmed to be represented, from Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Dominica, Nevis, Chile, Peru and Bolivia.

Confirmed participants from the region are:
