Geothermal exploration permit expanded in Kona, Hawaii

The Board of Land and Natural Resources of Hawaii has allowed the seeked expanded geothermal resource exploration permit in Kona.
Following earlier news, were the University of Hawaii was seeing to double the area for geothermal exploration the resolution for this matter has been approved.
According to local news, last week the Board of Land and Natural Resources “gave their OK to an expanded geothermal resource exploration permit on Hualalai volcano in Kona”.
