SKM and German GEo-T are providing a Geothermal Short Course November 19-20, 2010 in conjunction with the German Geothermal Congress taking place November 17-19, 2010 in Karlsruhe/ Germany.

This is an event announcement for a geothermal short course offered in conjunction with the German Geothermal Congress taking place in November 2010 in Karlsruhe/ Germany.

Under the theme “Together, we make it happen…” and in cooperation with GeoThermal Engineering GmbH, Sinclair Knight Merz is offering a professional short course on the topic of geothermal energy.

Day 1 is giving an introduction to Geothermal Resources and Engineering with individual topics ranging from general geothermal science, a European geothermal overview, extraction technologies, drilling and wells, downhole loggig and commercial development of projects.

Day 2 is looking at risk mitigation and insurance, project commercialisation and realisation.
