In an interview with Rogier Pieterse, the CEO of Transmark Renewables, we learn more about the company's development progress in Turkey, its projects in Chile and its newest approach into the Dutch geothermal space.

At the GeoPower Global Markets event earlier this month, I was able to talk with Rogier Pieterse, the CEO of Transmark Renewables and discuss his company’s development activities.

Transmark Renewables is owned by Transmark N.V. a family owned international group of companies in the energy sector. Transmark Renewable Products B.V. is a geothermal developer.

The company has established itself as a significant player in the geothermal market with a license portfolio of 19 concession areas on Wetern Turkey, two in the Netherlands and 6 concession areas in Chile. In addition the company has 13 geothermal license applications pending in Chile.

So it was quite interesting being able to hear from the company’s CEO on the progress of the company’s activities particularly in Turkey, in Chile, but also its newest approach into the Dutch geothermal space.
