The German Geothermal Congress will take place November 17-19, 2010 and will feature Turkey as guest country.

The German Geothermal Congress to take place in Karlsruhe in the South of Germany November 17-19, 2010 is taking shape, so the Geothermal Energy Association of Germany.

In a release on the Association’s website, it is reported that around 133 entries for the different forums of the congress have been received, showing the great interest not only by academics but the whole industry.

The overall program includes a wide spectrum of topics from shallow geothermal applications to power generation. The main focus of the congress is on geological and engineering related topics, but will also see questions regarding politics, financing, legal framework and communication being addressed.

The guest country of this year’s event is Turkey, which is the source of many interesting entries this year.
