Germany's geothermal energy sector has become an attractive investment destination for international investors and Geothermal Investment is topic of a Roundtable discussion at the upcoming Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern geothermal conference in Munich, September 12, 2017.

The geothermal energy sector in Germany has become an attractive investment destination by international investors. This and more is topic of the Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern conference that will convene tomorrow in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.

With more than 200 participants this year’s congress exceeds the most successful of the year 2016. Particularly investors have discovered geothermal energy in Germany to be a fruitful investment within the last year. For the second time, the panel Round Table “Invest Geothermal” follows the idea to create an exchange platform and bringing investors and project developers together, thus making geothermal energy more attractive for the financial sector.

“During the last few years it was very difficult to convince investors of the opportunities presented by geothermal energy in Germany. This has changed significantly. A number of investors, domestic and international banks are attending the Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern that starts tomorrow (September 12, 2017) to get informed of the latest developments in technology and project development in the most active geothermal market of central Europe”, says Dr. Jochen Schneider, Managing Director of the congress organizer Enerchange.

ThinkGeoEnergy will lead the Investment Roundtable discussions and report from the event.
