The upcoming Praxiforum Geothermie.Bayern geothermal conference in Munich/ Germany will again feature a high-level geothermal investment roundtable with key representatives from Climeon, Taaleri, Storengy and enpros consulting.

Established three years ago, the Roundtable Invest Geothermal will again featuring a high level panel at this year’s Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern geothermal conference in Munich, Bavaria/ Germany. The roundtable on 17 October 2018, will feature speakers from the finance industry and utilities: Climeon, Taaleri, Storengy and enpros consulting will initiate an interesting dialogue about investing in geothermal energy in Bavaria.

The aim of the roundtable is to facilitate the exchange between developers and investors, bring them together to discuss the challenges of geothermal project finance and find solutions to promote the further development.

This year we are glad to announce a high-level international board: Christopher Engman, CRO/CMO of Climeon, the world leader in converting low temperature heat into electricity, will illustrate the investment strategy of the company for geothermal energy. Jorma Alanne, Investment Director of Taaleri Plc, an asset management house for the private wealth segment in Finland, is involved in the geothermal project Dorfen, in the south of Munich and is looking for further investment opportunities. Kathrin Schulz, Head of Division Business Development & Strategic Projects at Storengy, a company of the ENGIE-group, is looking for further possibilities to broaden their geothermal portfolio.

Moreover, Dr. Hartwig Schröder from enpros consulting, who is involved in the evaluation in many geothermal projects in the Bavarian Molasse Basin, will give an introduction about the challenges of investing in geothermal projects. Chairman of the forum is Philippe Dumas, the Director of the EGEC, the European Geothermal Energy Council.

The Roundtable Invest Geothermal takes place on October 17, 2018 from 16.00 to 18.00 in conjunction with the Praxisforum Geothermie.Bayern event. Registration for the congress day and further information about the program are available via the conference website.
