International law firm Watson Farley & Williams has joined the upcoming IGC Invest Geothermal Finance & Investment Forum in Frankfurt as Sponsor and will share its thoughts on its work in geothermal. The event will take place in Frankfurt/ Germany - 28 March 2019.

The 2nd IGC Invest Geothermal – Geothermal Finance & Investment Forum will kick off in Frankfurt/ Germany on March 28, 2019.

Held in the center of Europe’s financial sector, the event will be focusing on important elements of investing in geothermal energy development, such as risk mitigation, early stage financing, crowdfunding, market incentives, financing options, multi-player projects and exit strategies.

With an increasing interest in development in growth markets, such as Turkey, Indonesia, Africa, Europe, Latin America and others, development continues to face the challenge of attracting adequate funding for projects particularly in the early stages of development. While multilateral programs and development banks are helping development in early stages, there is still insufficient equity funding available to move geothermal projects forward.

Law firm Watson Farley & Williams has now joined the event as MW Sponsor. Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) is a leading international law firm with over 500 lawyers, including almost 150 partners across our offices in Athens, Bangkok, Dubai, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hong Kong, London, Madrid, Milan, Munich, New York, Paris, Rome and Singapore.
