Gesto Energia and Italian STEAM have been awarded and signed an engineering contract for Olkaria V, Kenya.

Announced already in April 2015, a contract has now signed late last month between Steam Group from Italy and Gesto Energy Consulting from Portugal (with Italian subsidiary).

The contract is for the engineering services and supervision of the construction of the Olkaria V geothermal power plant for KenGen inKenya. The planned installed capacity for the plant is 140 MW.

STEAM is an italian engineering company founded in 1987 with a specific focus on geothermal energy. The firm has worked internationally on a variety of geothermal projects world-wide.
