You will be based at our office in Copenhagen, reporting to our Managing Director, Denmark. Our team is small and agile with a variety of tasks to carry out, and we pull together to accomplish our goals.

Key responsibilities

As Development Engineer in A.P. Møller Holding Geothermal, you are part of the core team delivering geothermal projects.

Your main responsibility is development planning for large-scale geothermal plants in close cooperation with existing and future district heating customers. This entails integrating information from various disciplines and optimising large scale development and production of geothermal energy, successfully balancing risks, uncertainty and value to stakeholders. You will work closely with customers, vendors and authorities.

We are a start-up business with a very dynamic working environment, where everyone has to chip in, and you have to be willing and able to contribute – also outside your individual area of expertise.

Who we are looking for

You are an experienced development engineer, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivering on a wide variety of initiatives and projects in a pragmatic and efficient manner. You are known for your proactive, positive attitude and have a proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and pragmatically within a team as well as with external stakeholders. You are a team player, who thrive in working across disciplines and functions.

You hold a relevant degree at minimum BSc. level and have 10+ years’ experience in the energy business with focus on extracting energy from the subsurface. Your experience within development planning ranges from early business development stage to mature concept select stage.

Our working language is English and Danish and you must be fluent in writing as well as verbally in both. Further you must hold a Danish work-permit.
