An international job agency is seeking to fill the position of a Geothermal Power Plant Engineer for a high profile geothermal project in East Africa for a global consultancy.

“To be considered for the position you will need to demonstrate significant experience in Geothermal power plant design, equipment specification and cost estimation with demonstrated knowledge in associated Electrical, mechanical, Control and Instrumentation, Civil and Structural Engineering.

With a university degree in Engineering or related field, preferably with a relevant post-graduate qualification in power plant engineering, you must have been involved as a lead design engineer in designing, equipment specification, preparation of material take-offs (MTO) and overall cost estimation for at least one successfully operated Geothermal power plant.

This role is offered on a rotational basis, and is open to international candidates. The working language is English communication and writing skills, especially in report writing, are essential.”
