The International Geothermal Association (IGA) is seeking to fill the position of Executive Director from the beginning of 2017. The position is based at the IGA Secretariat in Bochum, Germany.

The International Geothermal Association (IGA) is seeking for a new Executive Director from beginning of 2017.

IGA is the the international representation of the geothermal energy industry with its national and international member associations is a key player in the encouragement, facilitation and promotion of geothermal energy development. Founded in 1988, IGA is a scientific, educational and cultural organization established to operate worldwide. It has nearly 5,000 members in over 65 countries. The IGA is a non-political, non-profit, non-governmental organization with consultative status to the UN and special observer status to the Green Climate Fund.

The IGA is now seeking for a new Executive Director from beginning of 2017. The position is based at the IGA Secretariat in Bochum, Germany. A vacancy announcement for this multifaceted task for a well experienced networking professional from the geothermal community will be published shortly by the Bochum University of Applied Sciences, the GZB – International Geothermal Centre and on the IGA Website.
