To celebrate our 2021 bicentenary of pioneering research we are seeking to appoint a highly-talented Professor of Geothermal Energy to join our world-leading team. This post, co-funded by the British Geological Survey (BGS), is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and aspiring individual to proactively lead and enhance the development of new, effective, and sustainable collaboration between BGS and the University.
You will form and manage a joint research group, as well as conducting first-class research, to support the expansion of our Geoenergy activities, with emphasis on characterising and modelling geothermal reservoirs. As part of your role, you will effectively contribute to postgraduate teaching, promoting and representing the University and BGS to expand existing industry facing networks.
