Les Journées de la GEOTHERMIE / GEOTHERMAL Days 2011 will take place in Paris/ France on December 14 & 15, 2011, organized by the French Association of Geothermal Energy Professionals with the support of BRGM.

This is an event announcement for the “Les Journées de la GEOTHERMIE / GEOTHERMAL Days 2011”, that will take place in Paris/ France on December 14 & 15, 2011.

This event marks the will of the Geothermal energy community from France to get more industrialized and to organize itself for an improved visibility towards decision makers, specifiers and contractors among others.

The event will be organized around a 2-day professional exhibition and 2 days of conferences (in French only) covering all aspects of geothermal energy.

This will mark the first time in France that manufacturers, drilling companies, users, decision makers from the public and private sectors, policy makers, promoters, specifiers and contractors, engineers, service providers and media will be gathered in a unique location to exchange, do business and learn about geothermal energy issues.

Les Journées de la GEOTHERMIE/Geothermal Days 2011 are the official event of the French Association of Geothermal energy Professionals (AFPG), they are also organized with the support of the BRGM (French authority for underground and mining activities).
The 2020 goals set by the government for geothermal energy in France are ambitious and involve a multiplication by 6 of the capacities installed.
