The French Association of Geothermal Professionals invites to the first ever Geothermal Days in Paris, December 13-15, 2011. The event will be held in French and feature a trade show and conference.

The French geothermal energy industry is holding its very first Geothermal Days event marking a giant step and a window of opportunity for the industry and community within a field already very well organized in Europe, and especially in Germany and Switzerland.

This event brings together the players of the industry and enables them to meet and exchange. It will also allow all potential users and investors to understand that geothermal solutions use mature and tried technologies applicable on the entire French territory.

The 2020 goals set for geothermal energy are ambitious and involve a multiplication by six of the capacities installed, in particular for heating and cooling solutions. The industrialization of the sector is under way and contributing companies are spread all over the country. Their regional location is a great advantage for the study, the making and the maintenance of installations whose size range from solutions for individual homes up to heating networks for large-scale housing.

The event will see 40 experts speaking at the conference with 2 days of sessions, round tables and debates (in French only).

The organizers expect about 300 delegates and about 60 companies to present at the accompanying 2-day trade show.
