Many years in development, the municipality of Lakeview in Oregon has now started its geothermal district heating system, which will initially supply heat to a hospital and school.
The municipality of Lakeview in Oregon, has now successfully installed a geothermal heating system, which has been worked on for many years.
The heat from a well in the community is now being sold to a hospital and school, with a rehabilitation and upgrade to a geothermally heated pool expected to start in 2014.
