The third Iceland Geothermal Conference will be held April 26-29, 2016 in Reykjavik, Iceland. Initiated by the Icelandic geothermal sector and its cluster initiative the event features a conference, trade show, several side events and field trips that will make for a great opportunity to network.

The third Iceland Geothermal Conference will take place April 26-29, 2016. Held for the first time in 2010 and held every three years, the event is a bit of a test on the World Geothermal Congress 2020 coming to Reykjavik, Iceland.

The event expects in excess of 600 participants from all parts of the world and will feature not only the conference element, but also a trade show, several networking elements, several side events, but also field trips to the exciting places that showcase the great utilisation of geothermal energy in Iceland.

The conference and trade show will be held in Iceland’s Harpa Concert and Conference Centre in downtown Reykjavik.

There are several delegation expected not only from countries Iceland has traditionally partnered with, but there are side meetings expected from donors, working groups etc.
