A new luxury geothermal spa and wellness centre is being developed on the lake shore of Rotorua in New Zealand.

As reported locally, a new luxury spa and wellness centre is being developed on the lakefront of Rotorua on the North Island of New Zealand

With a focus on Te Ao Maori heritage, the development has an estimated investment value of NZ$ 30 million ($21.5 million)

The Wai Ariki Hot Springs and Spa is expected to boost the local economy and create new jobs for residents of the region.

With early work on the project to start this year, the spa is expected to be completed by the end fo 2019.
