The published study from the New Climate Institute presents several arguments for why geothermal is the better option for electricity generation in Kenya

A new study published by the New Climate Institute makes a compelling case for the competitiveness of geothermal over coal in Kenya. By looking at a set of different costs involved in setting up a geothermal or coal power plant and the subsequent affordability of the generated electricity, the study takes more holistic approach to analyzing one of the central conflicts regarding geothermal development.
