The scholarship is available for 50 qualified Indonesian students to undertake postgraduate studies at a New Zealand study institution. Applications will close on Thursday 30 April 2015.

According to a recent press release done by the New Zealand Embassy in Indonesia, 50 scholarships are offered for Indonesian students at a New Zealand study institution. The following is the release done by the NZ institution.

The New Zealand Embassy invites individuals with an inquiring mind, enthusiasm and drive to contribute to the future development of Indonesia to apply. The scholarships empower individuals with the knowledge, skills and qualifications to contribute to economic, social and political development within ASEAN nations. Up to 50 scholarships are provided by the New Zealand government to Indonesia.

‘I strongly encourage qualified Indonesians to apply for this scholarship so you can gain a world class education in our beautiful country that truly embraces New Thinking!’ said Dr. Trevor Matheson, New Zealand Ambassador-designate to Indonesia.

The scholarship is available for Indonesians to undertake postgraduate studies at a New Zealand study institution. Successful applicants are entitled to full tuition fees, an establishment allowance upon arrival in New Zealand, a living allowance to cover day to day costs, and return air travel.

Dr. Matheson commented that ‘Our two countries enjoy a highly productive partnership that encompasses political, security, commercial and people-to-people links and we know that students and alumni play an important role in building the strong and vibrant relationship between our two countries that we experience today.’

Applications from Indonesia will close on Thursday 30 April 2015 for study in 2016.
