The Great Basin Center for Geothermal Energy at the University of Nevada Reno is presenting a 10-day intensive course focused on geothermal geology, geochemistry, and geophysics taught by experts in the field June 11-20, 2014 at the University of Nevada, Reno.

This program is intended for outstanding undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals with strong backgrounds in science, math, and/or engineering.

The course will cover geochemistry, geothermometry, remote sensing, heat flow, field mapping, structural settings, 3D modeling, geophysical modeling, gravity, reflection seismology, and magnetotellurics.  A three-day field trip to Long Valley caldera in California is included.  Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn from the experts in beautiful Reno, Nevada!
