Glasgow, Scotland based oil & gas recruitment firm Ably Resources has won a $1.1m contract for a geothermal drilling project in the Netherlands. Under the contract, the company will recruit and manage staff for the duration of the project.

Glasgow, Scotland based oil & gas recruitment firm Ably Resources reports having won a $1.1 million contract for a joint-venture geothermal drilling project in the Netherlands.

As reported by Rigzone, Ably Resources was hired to recruit necessary staff to run the project and manage the crew for the duration of the project.

“The specialist team recruited for this project have very specific expertise and skills. Geothermal energy is a new sector requiring state-of-the-art drilling capabilities. We use our worldwide connections to find and recruit the best talent to save our customers time and money,” Mark Lombardi, managing director of Ably Resources, said in a company statement.

According to the company, this is the second JV project for Ably in the geothermal sector, with the first one successfully completed in 2017.
