Memorial legislation passed unanimously in Oregon State in support for the FORGE geothermal facility to go to Deschutes County

Local news from Oregon inform that State Sen. Tim Knopp has successfully pushed for memorial legislation to support the motion to bring a DOE geothermal research facility to Deschutes County.

There are 5 different US states fighting to bring the FORGE geothermal facility to their states. The project not only would bring a art laboratory to Oregon but also funding, jobs and other benefits.

According to the same source, the Oregon Senate passed the memorial legislation unanimously.
