Petratherm updates from quarterly report and other

Petratherm ongoing activities in China, identification of potential EGS sites, new licenses in Barcelona and continuation of talks with potential partners for heating project in Madrid/ Spain, and continuation of drilling at Parlana, Australia.

The following is a short summary of various news on Australian Petratherm on activities in China, Spain and Australia.

The company has identified several potential sites for EGS electricity generation in southeast China and economic assessments suggest attractive commercial returns. Now the company is talking to potential local joint venture partners.

Petratherm also cancels two geothermal exploration licenses, as geophysical work and thermal modelling suggested unattractive temperature-depth profiles.

Petratherm Espana has been granted 3 new licenses around Barcelona and has sought tenders for a major MT survey on Tenerife. At the same time the company was unable to reach an acceptable JV agreement with French Dalkia to develop a Madrid district heating system and is now speaking to other potential partners.
