In a collaboration by the International Geothermal Association and the International Energy Agency Geothermal Technology Program, the Asia Geothermal Symposium will provide a wide overview on the status of geothermal development in the countries in Asia.

Organised in a collaboration of the International Geothermal Association and the International Energy Agency Geothermal Technology Program, the Asia Geothermal Symposium will feature a wide overview on the status of geothermal energy in Asia.

With presentations from Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Myanmar, the Philippines, Taiwan, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, and from Papua-New Guinea, the event will provide an excellent overview on the status of development in those countries, its challenges and opportunities.

The event – supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in Germany – will take place 28 February 2018 in the Oberrheinhalle, part of the Messe Offenburg. It will take place a day before the start of one of the largest regular events for the geothermal industry the GeoTHERM expo & congress in Offenburg/ Germany.
