Ram Power announces nominations to its management team

Ram Power, Corp. announced the nomination of Mike Long as Vice President of Engineering & Construction as well as the appointment of Anthony Pitirri as Corporate Controller to its management team. Both gentlemen were members of the companies merged with Ram Power.

In a release by the company, “Ram Power, Corp. (TSX:RPG) announced the appointment of Mike Long as Vice President of Engineering & Construction as well as the appointment of Anthony Pitirri as Corporate Controller. The additions of Mr. Long and Mr. Pitirri compliment Ram Power’s existing management staff with high level of expertise for key areas as it moves forward to take its position as the premier geothermal power developer and operator.

In his new position, Mr. Long will oversee the design and construction of Ram Power’s fleet of geothermal power plants currently in the development and construction stage. Mr. Long was most recently Operations Manager at Western Geopower Inc. and brings extensive geothermal project management experience to Ram Power. Prior to joining Western Geopower Inc., Mr. Long spent over fifteen years as Manager of Renewable Energy Projects at POWER Engineers, Inc., a world leader in the design and engineering of geothermal energy projects. He holds a BSc from the Colorado School of Mines, and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado University, and is a registered professional engineer.

Mr. Pitirri was most recently Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Polaris Geothermal Inc. (“Polaris”) and has been appointed Ram Power’s Corporate Controller following the recent merger of Polaris and Ram Power. Mr. Pitirri is a Chartered Accountant with nine years experience in public accounting. In his new position, Mr. Pitirri’s responsibilities will include the preparation and completion of financial statements, assisting with project and equity financings, overseeing the transition to International Financial Accounting Standards scheduled for January, 2011, and maintaining the Company’s internal control framework.
