Ram Power Corp. announces the appointment of Shuman Moore as President and CEO effective September 30, 2011. Shuman Moore comes from another developer Oski Energy, where he was CEO.

In a release, Ram Power Corp, “announced today that it has named Shuman Moore as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 30, 2011. Mr. Moore replaces Walter M. Higgins, who will step down as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer and who will also retain his position on the Board of Directors for the Company.

Mr. Moore is a seasoned renewable energy executive who comes to Ram Power from Oski Energy LLC (“Oski”) a geothermal independent power producer (“IPP”). As Chief Executive Officer at Oski, he was instrumental in building the company from the ground up into a successful development and IPP company, with 11 projects in four states and one operating plant, all within 18 months. Mr. Moore brings more than 30 years of domestic and international energy sector experience in the geothermal, ethanol, biomass, coal, oil, and gas industries, and has participated in the development of projects ranging from 10-800 MW in size. Mr. Moore held previous positions as Chief Executive Officer for High Desert GeoCulture, and Western Biofuels Development before joining Oski Energy, and was a senior executive in an international capacity at Constellation Power Inc. as Vice President, Business Performance, Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr. Moore is fluent in Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Maryland.
