Raser acquires 17 new lease parcels

As part of the U.S. Bureau of Land Management's geothermal auction on December 19, Raser Technologies expanded its geothermal resources by acquiring 17 new lease parcels.

As part of the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s geothermal auction on December 19, Raser Technologies expanded its geothermal resources by acquiring 17 new lease parcels covering over 50,000 acres of geothermal, surface and other rights in Utah.

The company states that it now holds over 300,000 acres in five states. The lease agreements, the company has the rights to geothermal resources and certain surface rights for the construction of geothermal wells, piping, power plants and transmission lines.
