Kicking off this year's GRC Annual Meeting & Expo, the GRC Charity Golf Tournament will be held on September 15 in the Indian Wells Golf Resort
The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) has announced more details of events at the world’s largest annual geothermal energy conference, being held this year at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, California, USA, September 15-18, 2019.
Just before the start of the GRC Annual Meeting & Expo, the Annual Charity Golf Tournament will take place September 15 at the Indian Wells Golf Resort, just south of Palm Springs. Registration for the tournament is now open.
The proceeds from the tournament will go to the GRC Scholarship Fund. Last year the event helped to support six students in the international geothermal energy community.
Minutes away from downtown Palm Springs, the Indian Wells Golf Resort features a magnificent 53,000 square-foot clubhouse and is one of the few properties to have two courses ranked in the Top 25 “Best Municipal Courses in the United States” by Golfweek Magazine.
In addition to spectacular mountain views, the Par-72 Indian Wells Celebrity Course features undulating fairways, and flowing water in the form of streams, brooks, and split-level lakes connected by striking waterfalls, with vibrant floral detail. GRC Annual Meeting & Expo
The GRC Annual Meeting & Expo is the industry’s largest annual gathering of leading geothermal energy scientists, producers, renewable energy industry stakeholders, regulators, utilities, and key associated business leaders. The four-day event will offer technical, policy, and market conference sessions, educational seminars, tours of local geothermal and renewable energy projects, and numerous networking opportunities.
Registration to the GRC Annual Meeting & Expo will open soon. Room reservations can now be made on the GRC website at www.geothermal.org. A discounted room rate is available until August 21, so early reservations are recommended.
