Sanko Energy is planning to drill up to 33 wells for its geothermal project in Manisa, Turkey.

SANKO Energy is planning to drill 33 wells in Ahmetli and Salihli districts in Manisa to search for geothermal resources.

SANKO Enerji Yat?r?mlar? Sanayi A.S. , which has established a 50 MW capacity Geothermal Energy Production Plant in the Salihli district of Manisa. SANKO Energy is planning to drill 33 wells in Geothermal resource operation and exploration licensed areas. In case the geological flow is reached with proper features within the scope of the planned drilling project, a new geothermal power plant is planned to be built on the progressive stage.

Drilling at each well target is planned to be completed within 45 days by working 24 hours a day via three shifts. Within the scope of the project, 48 engineers, 3 technicians and 40 workers will work in the field. The total project cost for each well is planned to be 1.000.000-TL.

Within the scope of the planned project, Rotary drilling method will be used from drilling methods. During the drilling works to be carried out within the scope of the project, drilling to a depth of 2,500 (± 250) meters is planned. Each drilling activity is planned to last 45 (forty-five) days.
