Transmark Renewables reports that it has spudded well KOC-03 of its Kocaköy geothermal power project in Turkey.

In a short note on its website, Transmark Renewables reports that it has spudded well KOC-03 in its Gulpinar cluster, in line with the envisaged program for its power plant project.

“As earlier reported, Transmark will commence with development of the area by drilling multiple production and re-injection wells. KOC-03 is planned to the same depths and aims to hit the same carbonate reservoir. Transmark will start constructing the first power production module and further develop the area by a continuous drilling program. The initial discussions with the ORC power plant manufacturers have been initiated.”
