Both Turcas and Azalternativenerj have signed an MoU to collaborate and develop renewable energy projects in Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Good news from Middle East, were Turkish oil giant Turcas Petrol and Azerbaijan’s Azalternativenerji have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to invest and develop renewable energy projects, namely geothermal both in Turkey and Azerbaijan, says the Daily Sabah.

According to the official KAP press release, “Turcas Energy Holding (a 100% owned subsidiary from Turcas Petrol) and Azalternativenerj Limited Company operating under the Azerbaijan Republic Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources in Government Agency (ABEM) have signed an MoU on 21.7.2015 with an aim to collaborate in solar, wind and geothermal power plant investments that are planned to take place in Turkey and Azerbaijan and develop said projects. The Mentioned MoU will be valid for 3 years starting from the date of signature.”
