The consortium of PT Hitay Southwestern Energy and PT Dyfco Energy has won the auction for the Mount Talang Geothermal Working Area with an offer price of electricity of $0.1275/ kWh.

In an announcement on its website, the Directorate General for New, Renewable and Energy Conservation at the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry (ESDM) in Indonesia reports already in late October, that it has announced a winner for the auction of the Mount Talang Geothermal Working Area.

Based on the Minutes Results for the Auction of the Geothermal Work Area (WKP) of Mount Talang – Bukit Kili No. BA-10 / 10.10 / WKP-4 / KESDM / 2016 dated 22 September 2016 stipulated that the first rank of the auction WKP Mount Talang – Bukit Kili as follows:

  • Bidder: The consortium of PT Hitay Southwestern Energy and PT Dyfco Energy and an Offer Price of Electricity: $0.1275/ kWh
  • Bidder: PT Pertamina (Persero) and an Offer Price of Electricity: $0.136/ kWh

Based on the results the Minister through the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 7257 K / 30 / MEM / 2016 dated October 3, 2016 on the award Auction Territory Geothermal Working at The Mount Talang – Bukit Kili, District of Solok, West Sumatra province, determines the winner of the tender WKP Mount Talang – Bukit Kili is:

  • Winner: The consortium of PT Hitay Southwestern Energy and PT Dyfco Energy
  • Offer Price of Electricity: $0.1275/ kWh
