Two international consortia's have sent in bids for the construction of a 5 MW pilot plant for the potentially 100 MW geothermal power project at Laguna Colorada in the Andes, Bolivia.

At the end of the bidding period for the initial 5 MW development of the planned 100 MW geothermal power plant at Laguna Colorada in Bolivia two consortia have handed in bids.

With a planned binary power plant, the consortia are Italian Exergy in cooperation with French EPC contractor Clemessy and Spanish construction group Sacyr with Ormat Technologies.
