A great video showcasing the use of geothermal energy in the state of Bavaria, Germany.
“Geothermie in Bayern”, so the title of a recently shown report on local TV station Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR).
Focusing mostly on how the state of Bavaria is using geothermal for heating, it talks to various actors of the local geothermal industry.
It talks to the various actors of the industry, including the President of the German Geothermal Association, who in his previous role as mayor of Unterhaching played an important role for one of the successful milestone projects in Germany.
The report talks about district heating, the power project in Unterhaching and a rather ambitious greenhouse project.
