Already taped in November 2016, in this interview we sat together with the interim Chair of the African Chapter of the Women in Geothermal (WING) group during the ARGeo conference in n Addis Ababa/ Ethiopia.

Already in November 2016, I had the great opportunity to sit together with the energetic ladies behind the foundation of the African Chapter of the Women in Geothermal Group. Just managing to post it now, I think it still highlights the great energy provided by Phyllis Mathenge, a drilling engineer of Kenya’s GDC and interim Chair of WING for Africa.

With members from across East Africa and other regions on the continent, the group is pushing for creating opportunities for women in the growing geothermal sector in Africa.

Thank you to Phyllis and her Wing women and man for taking the time during the African Rift Geothermal Conference in Addis Ababa in November last year. … and sorry for posting this so late.
