EnergySource, operator of the 49 MW Hudson Ranch I geothermal power plant has published a great video with an overview on the plant.

The Hudson Ranch I geothermal power plant at the Salton Sea in Imperial County, California was the first new geothermal power plant in 20 years when it started operation five years ago in March 2012.

With a drilling start in 2008 the project provided 200 construction jobs and 33 full-time operations jobs. Developed by EnergySource, the plant has an installed power generation capacity of 49 MW.
